Donation Drive

Continuing with the legacy of providing quality education to the students especially from rural areas SBBS University endeavors to organize, training programs, seminars, conferences, workshops for the students in the premises of SBBS university, University institute of law, with the heavenly blessing of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (Braham ji), and constant motivation of Sant Baba ManMohan Singh ji, Chancellor, Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Dharamjit Singh Parmar, , Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Aneet Kumar, able leadership Dy. Dean of UIL Prof. Dr. Pooja Bali.

University Institute of law, SBBSU, has successfully conducted One day Donation Drive cum educational visit for the Undergraduate students of law here in BALLB course. On 07th May, 2024, this visit is being organised venue at All India Charitable Society, Bhagat pura, Pingalwara, Amritsar, Punjab . Students were accompanied by Ms. Navdeep Kaur, Assistant Professor (law) and Mr. Rishav Dogra, Assistant Professor (law). The visit was commenced with welcome Address given under the guidance of President , India Charitable Society, Bhagat pura, Pingalwara, Amritsar, Punjab, Ms. Inderjeet kaur (Padambhushan Awardee).

In the meantime of address the respected member of society highlights the biography of revered saint Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, under the hood of their efforts and vision this society was established.. While addressing the student, they mention about their gratuitous work done by the society entirely free of cost. Society runs three schools in total solely and wholly dedicated to deaf and dumb students, special school for special students and for children of pingalwara, respectively.

This address by the speaker is followed by the campus visit of students which includes one on one interaction with the students. Further, students donated various articles of daily need to the needy students which include some edible items, clothes, slippers, note books, some articles for personal hygiene and sanitation. Students also have donations from other students, studying in other disciplines of the University. It is noteworthy here to mention that due care and caution is taken care of on the part of Dy, Dean Dr. Pooja Bali and other members of organizing committee, in collection of donation from the students including proper maintenance of bills for purchasing articles for donation.

Meanwhile, it was a successful educational visit for the students in which they get the opportunity of learning from special strata of society (special children). UIL hope and rigorously endeavor to organize more likewise events/visits in future also.
